Dual sport specific magazine?

Yes, there is. I bought a magazine called Adventure Rider after seeing it previewed on ADV forum. As I recall it was $8.00 and boy was I disappointed. Lots of ads, very thin on content, 'cheap' feeling paper and several typos.

I was hoping for very good things but..............nopey.

I couldn't agree more, the fastest growing segment in the cycle industry today is Dual Sport/Adv riding, and it been that way for most of the decade. Now I'm not saying it larger then the cruiser market but rather it has grown more then any other segment.
So if a rag was started, one that was done well, I have little doubt it would sell in fact quite well I'm sure.

Interestingly, Overland Journal matches any other publication, page-for-page on Adventure Motorcycle content. That is an advantage of being at 132 pages ;)

There's this one http://www.adventuremotorcycle.com/

But AdventureRider.com is free and has tons of info on everything from the most mundane to people riding the Road of Bones, scootering around the country, how to fix darn near anything, etc.

I have to agree with Scott on this one. The adventure rider magazine is not worth the cash. It has way to much advertisements and not enough content. I'm sure OJ would put more motorcycle stuff in it if us motorcycle guys would get out there and do some of this :bike_rider:.

I used to be able to find both Dust and Overland Journal at Barnes & Noble but they don't seem to be there any more. Maybe B&N has a high fee to carry the pubs?
