I have been a longtime camper / truck fan myself but curios on the need to go 550. What is your gross weight loaded with fuel, water its..Where are you carrying the spare.That is one great looking set up you have. I attached a photo of my OBS 350,

My 3500 SRW wasnt enough truck so my choices were 450/4500 or 550/5500. I chose to go big... my GVW will broach 15k lbs all loaded with 75 gallons of water, 90 gallons fuel, surfboards, dirtbikes etc... spare will be located between camper and cab.
