E450 super single conversion?????

Hi there
Found a low mileage 06 E450 6l 158"Wb for sale, was wondering if and or how a single rear set up would be possible, taking into consideration lug spacing for new 4wd axle and tire reccomendations for acceptable gvw ratings. Would like a 4" lift, to keep it low but with some trimming could I get 35" tires squeezed in there, and are any capable of meeting load ratings of the 450 series?
What I would like to build is a custom expedition box with a large fuel and water supply. Rear clearance wont be an issue, yet I would like to have the maintain the large gvw.
Looking for any history or reccomendations on how to make this work
A better idea let me know.

I have driven a dually around here on our blast rock back roads and constantly pulling boulders out, so would really like to avoid this..
Thanks

You should talk to Chris at Ujoint on the limitations of the 4" lift, and it's not really the tires. Six inch will get you those 35s with no trouble at all, and I believe Toyo makes a tire (in 17" anyway) that should work for you capacity wise.

He is not talking about 4x4, so that's a different animal.

4" plus 35" will be tricky: my mechanic said that on a stock Quigley he was not able to drive it with 35 by any means, it's only doable with trimming!

Load capacity is also not that easy. My 16" 315-75 will NOT take that load. probably in the 17" or 19,5" category.

Guess I missed something then. He mentions a 4WD axle as a consideration so I assumed this was going to be a conversion.
