Could someone tell me are these separate businesses selling the same type of product. Reading through the threads I'm not absolutely clear. As they both are beginning to use the Iveco daily 4x4.
They are two separate businesses both building campers for the Australian and USA markets on Fuso, Isuzu and Iveco chassis. The Iveco Daily 4x4 has only just been released in Australia and was not available before.
Yes, that's right two separate businesses although there was some confusion at the beginning as EarthCruiser was co-started by a former potential customer of ATW.
EarthCruiser has been producing expedition vehicles in QLD Australia for a number of years. Our focus, however, has been solely on the expedition vehicle market eventhough we too have come from the commercial vehicle industry. EarthCruiser started specifically to design and build a production expedition vehicle to meet the needs of people who wanted to travel the world off the grid. Our backgrounds are not only specialist motor bodying building but also travel as all of those involved in the creation of EarthCruiser have travelled extensively both in the Australian Outback and around the world. Personally I have traveled overland through Africa, Asia, Russia, Central Asia and a number of other places so I think I am well placed to understand the needs of the overland traveler.
EarthCruiser customers come from a variety of backgrounds and countries. We have a number of customers currently traveling the world, many of them for several years in their EarthCruisers. We continue to expand our product range in the international market with new chassis like the Iveco and with new designs and innovations. We love to see the growth in this style of travel. It's a passion for us.
