This is what I have discovered regarding downgrading GVM in NSW & ACT.
Basically if the truck was built with the option of two GVM versions for the exact same truck from the manufacturer (such as NPS250@4.495Tonne & NPS300@6.000Tonne) then all that is required is an engineers report and a new compliance plate fitted. Quotes for engineers certificate range from $695 to $1800 for the excact same report.
If the truck was made only in one version such as 6Tonne, then a physical modification is required to the vehicle that redistributes the load to the rear axles differently to when it was manufactured (either upgrading or downgrading).
I know this makes no sense when downgrading, and this definition is is a bit cryptic, and no one at the RTA technical division or the engineers could ellaborate on this clearly either.
Perhaps a torsion free setup would have been acceptable, but I did not think to ask this at the time.

Cool, maybe you could just reroute that one to my front drive..... LOL. Do you pad the corners and do a complete shrink wrap prior to loading? I would like to see a pic of this unit ready to load into the aircraft.
Can you please comment specifically on the latest generation USA spec 3.0 FUSO? There seems to be a ton of teething problems, and I wonder, with your factory connections, can you shed any light on what the future will bring for these trucks? lance, it was killing me that you missed expo. i really wanted to peel thru the latest build again. desire builds when hands are on..
It's too bad that Lance couldn't attend OX13, but that doesn't mean that EarthCruiser was absent. Forum member Desert Magazine spotted an EarthCruiser from New Zealand among the attendees.

As a very weak defense, we have been delivering EarthCruiser`s to all sorts of interesting places around the world, nearly makes up for it.....
