Disclaimer: I am NOT affiliated with the seller.

I have had a Scepter can with a cap that just would not budge, and I've tried everything while trying to avoid damaging the cap and the can to try and get it to break loose.

Browsing ebay the other day, I ran across a wrench, appeared to be made by Scepter. Turns out it's not, but made by the seller! Check out the pics! It's durable! And it popped that cap off easily without damaging the cap or the can!

They also sell replacement viton's AND they ship to CA!!!

That is pretty cool. A guy on mud has been make some out of wood that are nice and clean but that one is really sharp looking.

Maybe you guys can stock them! :) Although, I don't know what their business model is.

I can vouch for the quality, that's for sure!

I wouldn't try this with a 3/4"x1" branch! But then she's half my size.

i wouldnt hesitate to stand on my wrench like that. mine is a copy of the one on mud sorta and is a twin handle design. the handles are around 1 1/2 wide and 1 3/8 th's thick

I've worked with Walnut in my cabinet making days. I'm sure it's a beautiful tool, and choosing your stock carefully, you could probably get some extreme strength out of it.

But I still wouldn't subject it to what I put this tool through tonight trying to get that cap off! lol! I finally had my wife stand on it while I sat on the can and the cap came loose, and now I need a new viton gasket! :D

It acted as though someone glued it. Which is possible, I've never been able to open it since I obtained the can.

Actually, it was swelled inward. It probably would have taken a nice deep breath when the cap loosened, if my fat butt wasn't sitting on it! lol!

I have two scepter MFC's. And mine never did that.

ya mine is an exact trace of the cap and is a pretty snug fit so as much surface is touching the cap at any givin time to spread the load
