Utah KJ thank you for the question. We are strong advocates of groups like Tread Lightly, Blue Ribbon Coalition, and the Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association. You can see who we support by looking at the bottom of our home page. While we cannot comment on Black Diamonds political agenda we can compliment that they do manufacture quality gear. We would be happy to offer an alternative product of equal quality and value if any customer is dissuaded by our offer of a Black Diamond lantern because of Black Diamonds support of SUWA.

SUWA is interested in excluding motorized vehicles and mountain bikes from millions of acres. We are not talking to about preventing new access or new trails, they want to close historic trails. You can 'give a ****' all you want about a historic spot 20 miles into the backcountry, but unless you plan to huff it on foot they don't want 'people like you' there either
