Electric Heat? Teardrop

Anyone tried out a little 12 volt heater for a teardrop? I feel like with current battery capacity and solar there should be a decent electric heat solution. I don't need a 70 deg cabin, I just want something to go from 30 deg outside to 50 deg inside and maybe help with the condensation.

The lighter plug heaters you see are normally 150 watts and put out about 500 btu. A candle does around 300 btu, about the same as a human body ( not wrapped in heavy clothes or sleeping bag )
The draw will be about 12 amps, so over night you would draw about 100 ah. Then getting 5 hours of sun if your lucky in the winter you would need about 300 watts of panel to recharge. But figure on 400 watts of panel and 200 ah of battery.

Chinese diesel heater all the way. Been using one for 3 years. Works great. Or electric blankets. The blanket I have pulls 7amps. I have 280ah of life batt power. Easy peasy.

check my math, 280 A h = 140 A h usable to be friendly to you battery = 20 hours of run time = 2 nights and a bit.

there are campers who use an electric blanket,,, my parents slept under one for 60 years. might be a good option
definitely more efficient than heating the air
