Something that I have done in the past is : on previous vehicles, not on our 2023 ZR2 Colorado yet, is use a 700 watt microwave to reheat previously cooked food, on inclement weather conditions days.
We got asked all the time, how do we prepare dinner so quickly when the weather is horrible. We precook & vacuum seal. Then just reheat in microwave.
We haven't set anything up yet in our current truck but things are happening and things are being contemplated. We had a 2000/4000 watt pure sine wave inverter and 2 gp 31 AGM batteries in previous vehicles. And battery charger.
Smart alternator and dealership is presenting some problems. But eventually we will do something.
