Engle MT45 not working.

Fridge is 4 yrs old and stored on a shelf in my garage when not in use. Fridge has been a rock solid performer all these years, pulled it out plugged it in set the the dial I figured all good. Went to put food in it and it was room temp inside. I do hear it running and the fan does come on. not sure what is going on with it. Any Ideas, I tried it with 110v and 12v same thing. Help please.

Contact company for warranty if it had more than 4 yrs. If it runs and fan on, it probably leaked freon out. A fridge is just a closed loop of freon in pipes with a compressor and a fan, if the compressor and fan run then only freon is left. I guess look at the set temperatures to be sure they didnt get reset to room temp or something.

I had a MT-45 that ran flawlessly for over 15 years. They usually are very reliable.

I have an older one in my offroad trailer 20yrs has not skipped a beat and still working. Must be a freon issue with the other one.

It sounds like the cooling unit is bad. Call Engle in Florida, their tech support will walk you thru the trouble shooting. My 60 quart failed within the 3 year warranty (by 3 days) and they covered it under warranty. Unfortunately yours is not so expect a $3-400 replacement.
