Nice write up. I was there for this trip and it was awesome. This is what my GPS tracker tracked. Tracker must have turned off at times due to gaps.

How do I attach GPS tracks to this forum? I have them but don't know how to upload.

I use dualsportmaps.com to share/link tracks although you have to register(free) to the site to use it and download tracks

I'm trying to do the Mojave Road this year (just ordered my book). Was it just the one water crossing? My new truck has factory locker and factory all terrains (which look like street tires) and no lift. It's been very capable so far but the desert is the desert so I want to be prepared..

I must have missed the water crossing, I see it in all the photos next to the railroad however I never ran into it, other than that its dry...

My truck is completely stock with the streetish OEM tires and they did fine. I let the air down to about 20 psi the entire trip. My truck is the 2014 silver 4Runner.

But you did have a flat. Sidewalls are weak in OEM flavored tires
