Escape 17 trailer

Wondering if any one else overlands or explores with a light weight trailer? Last year we bought a 2012 Escape 17B one option that really sold me was that it has a high axle option and 15" tires plus the fact that it only weighs 2100 Lb making very capable of mild to moderate off road trails. Other option that make it ideal for extended boondock camping is it has a 95 watt solar panel w/2- 6 volt batteries giving you nearly unlimited power, you can stay till you run out of water and food. With 2 propane tank and using the fridge on gas it will last nearly 2 weeks if you don't take too many hot showers. Pulling this trailer with the Tundra I would limit it to forest service roads and improved dirt trails, with the Trooper I would
pull it anywhere that I didn't feel I could damage it (I have already had to winch out of one of our favorite disperse camping spots)

I like these trailers a lot. Very practical choice, IMHO. Enjoy your travels.

There was a nice one for sale on ExPo a while back, and it had been many interesting places.
