oh by the way my engine did sound like diesel too which appears to be bad bearings, cranshaft and cams were to loose. I hope everything works out good for you

I've removed that assembly completely when I installed the front pumpkin with gears from a Montero Sport. Less things to worry about breaking

BTW where do you get these schematic diagrams?

do you have it somewhere in this thread? i'd like to read more about this swap. that diagram i just googled, usually you can find something like that from autozone website too

what is IG? i want to see it too. By the way eurosonic are going to take apart your alternator and starter? Last night i took my starter apart to clean it and it was a mess, two of four brushes were not moving like they should and sand everywhere. Also are you going to check your hydraulic lash adjusters? http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/124234-1989-V6-Servicing-your-Hydraulic-Lash-Adjusters

custom carbon forged muffler bearings lol

Taking out the valve train so I can replace valve stem seals and lap/clean the valves. Made this tool so I can compress the spring and remove the retainers.

Soaking parts in some nasty marinade of chemicals. Results are beyond fantastic. Will post more later

Block somewhat cleaned up

Well. Both of my exhaust manifolds are cracked.

Truck sits so tall with out all the weight.
