Exp.Ut. Southern Utah Traverse, Sept 09'

I'm still hoping for a September trip. Busy year :D

We should plan an EXPO Utah September trip. If my new Tundra is not too big I'd love to do this trip.

Edit: I just looked back over some of the trip report, and Day three looks a little rough for a truck as big as mine. I would have to a take an alternate route. Some times I miss my XJ.

Jared included a link to the current EU planning thread on the September trip.

Thank you

Thanks for this report, I know that you have been hassled by "purists" for including maps, but none of them are walking barefoot and their rules are subjective and personal. The requirements of my life are such that I often do not have the time for original exploration, or a caravan of friends who have gone before me, but I am still willing to put it out there and go solo when I need to and my life allows. I appreciate your work in recounting your adventure - complete with maps. Some of which I will use, thank you very much!

I will do some of this trip in early May, starting at the Grand Bench and head across to the Henry's and then up into the Maze and finish with the White Rim Trail then double-back heading mostly on the road to Flagstaff for the Expo. I'm just waiting for my reservations in Canyonlands NP to be confirmed to finalize my route.

And I will carry a GPS.
