This is me and Truck and my old farm manager with one of the baby crocs that lives in the river where I bathed every day. In Namomba, near Siavonga, in Zambia (in Africa)
Second pic is taken at the foot of the hills, in where there is hotspring allso near Namomba. (where one of my farms is)
On a local racing site we do this with contests every week. You are voting and taking photos each week. It has worked out fairly good but it is a small local site so we normally only have 4 entries any given week. You submit the photos to the moderator before 10pm central sunday and he posts the photos and poll before everyone is waking for the day on monday. It is anonymous and it has worked good for about two years.
I will have my photos up before the end of the month.
Brazil, somewhere in the dry north east. Cow country I call it. Until it rains, all is good. But when it rains.... Real adventure awaits. Two shots made some days ago on the same spot. Different views of the same location.
The 1st is a sunset shot on Tryfan, North Wales. For those not familiar with UK mountains, Mallory and Irvine used Tryfan in winter to train for their Everest attempt. We slept out in the open (no open space for a tent) a few minutes afer this shot. This mountain oozes history.
The 2nd is my friend spotting a Lone Rover down a tight, steep embankment in an ancient forest in West Wales.
