Just wanted to mention im looking for a clean LC80 for my wife as a daily driver. She must be becoming and overlander at heart.. :victory:
Anyway i would consider an unbuilt or light built, very clean 80 on trade with the Taco, id be open to various scenarios...

It is a great truck. Your Hilux is an inspiration for my 4runner that wants to be a HiluxSurf when it grows up. :elkgrin: James has done a lot more too it as well after he bought it. The whole roof rack, bed rack, rear bumper etc are different as well as some other stuff now.

Thanks for providing that link, now I can have an in depth read through his buildup.....I love his setup, the custom roofrack (thou abit high for my liking) and the bed rack with the RTT on it, is what I want to do........

Also do a search for Expeditions West Old Taco as the mods that James did are not contained in one thread but should come up if you search for them. His screen name is Trail Monkey, so you can also search for threads that he started.
As a side note, the top of the bed is about the same height as a trailer. I think adding an Eezi-Awn Globetrotter tent in place of the 1200 would make an already amazing truck stellar as you would now have shelter around the vehicle.

Man, we're both in the same spot right now. The economy is so slow right now that people aren't wanting to buy anything. You might also want to check on comparables as well. There are a ton of really nicely built rigs out there going for considerably less than what you are asking for yours. Good luck with your sale.
