Great looking rig JoshH. I saw it on Steve's site and I must admit I spent way too much time ogling the pics. I've been really considering a 60 lately. I pitched the idea to my boss (wife), and she didn't even swing. She just gave me the look. I'm hoping she'll warm up to the idea after I get her to Cruiserfest next month.

Nice 60! I miss mine and a diesel would be muy bueno. Land Cruisers Direct is tempting me as well. Although, I'm in Spain right now and diesel cruisers are at my finger tips. Time will tell... I think my Hundy needs a friend!

Chuck B - I've heard that diesel 70 series pick ups are fairly common in Spain. Is that true?

Hey guys, first cruiser, first post. I'm just getting my build started, and looking forward to learning more about these awesome machines!

1. 1982 BJ60 (x2), 1 Root Beer Brown, the other is 2-tone Copper Penny and Rust.
2. Derek/TheMuffinMan
3. Had them about two months
4. 300,000km
5. So far haven't done much in the way of mods. Big plans though...
6. It'll be the family adventure rig once the transformation is complete.
7. Starting a build thread shortly. So far I've gutted the one with the good body and will be prepping it for paint soon.

I've intermittently been on ExPo for some time now and just realized that I haven't posted up my 60.

1. Year, model, color, etc: July 1985 FJ60
2. Name of owner/screen name: Nick/DrivingMissRosey
3. How long have you owned your 60 series? Is this your first? First Land Cruiser, but second Toyota (previous was a 1996 Tacoma 4 cylinder 4x4 with extended cab). I've owned this cruiser since September 2008.
4. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage: 118,500 miles/197,000 miles
5. Your favorite mods... If any: Small Block Chevy V-8 (also my least favorite mod).
6. How your 60 is used: DD, work truck, and family adventure.

Its a pile but its my pile. The blue hides a lot of issues. Love it. Best looking Cruisers that have Air Conditioning!

3. I've owned him for 10 years
4. Bought with 230k now has 390k (chassis only) 31k on the motor
5. Favorite mod: the diesel 5sp conversion for sure
6. I use it for long distance bumpy road exploring. Drive it most days in town as well.
7. No build thread. I was too lazy to document it
