A local dealership printed out the build sheet (several pages) for me. I requested it when I had my 80 in for some service. Did the same thing with my Jeep several years ago. I like having those, so I know the various paint colors, factory options, build date, etc.

I called the Customer Experience Center today and talked to Ty, the same guy that sent me a free owners manual for our newly aquired 97 CE. I asked if he could get me the sheet and without any hesitation, he found it with my VIN and is mailing it to me!! I just gave it a try as I'd rather not deal with the sales dept. If you ever need to call this number, I recommend you request to talk to Ty!

1993 FZJ80 - The Turtle
1. Year, model, color, etc:
1993, FZJ80, factory lockers. Green. My daughter named it The Turtle.
2. Name of owner/screen name:

3. How long have you owned your 80 series? Is this your first?
Bought it Sept. 3, so two months, and 3,000 miles so far.
4. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage:
167,000 when I bought it and 170,500 this morning.
5. Your favorite mods... If any:
Rear drawer and slide for fridge, fixed oil pump and sunroof (they count as mods) and new speakers.
6. How your 80 is used... ie. DD, family adventure, overland travel, etc.:
DD, camping truck and set up right now as my weekend race truck, my cyclocross bike is always in the back, the drawer is filled with race gear, water, lunch stuff. All I have to do on race morning is pack the cold food and get dressed.

Thanks, my daughter named it on the test drive, or as she saw it, the drive with the previous owner since there was no doubt we were buying it.... I didn't bother to explain there was already a Turtle truck - http://turtleexpedition.com/vehicles/turtle-i-2/ - and I had followed them in magazines since I was in high school... the name fit this truck to me too.

5. Your favorite mods... If any: Supercharger, front ARB air locker and aussie rear locker.
