I've been creeping this site for so long, and I figured it was time to contribute my own...
1. Year, model, color, etc: 1995, FZJ 80, Moonglow Pearl, Factory Lockers

3. How long have you owned your 80 series? Is this your first? I have owned this rig for 1 yr. It's my 2nd 80, first of which was a total pile of crap...
4. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage: 147,000 at purchase, 158,000 now
5. Your favorite mods... If any: ARB Bumper, 3" OME Lift
6. How your 80 is used... ie. DD, family adventure, overland travel, etc.: DD, Family Adventure, Constant Explorer Rig

I have never been a 'car guy' but I bought an INCREDIBLE '89 FJ62, which I ended needing to sell to pay for our child's birth.... Since I have caught the bug for all things Land Cruisers and someday hope to get a 62 back in the stable!... Someday... Until then, this is my exploration rig.

I've owned my 1996 80 Series about 6 (maybe 7) years. It has a lot of mods and additional equipment. Bought at 110,000 miles, currently at 165,000. I drive it when I feel like it, but it is not a DD.
Among the various mods I made it I most value the 44 gallon Long Ranger aux tank, allowing 69 gallons total and over 850 miles range. It is locked with factory lockers, dual batteries, OME 2.5" lift, Hannah Quality sliders, ARB front and Kaymar rear with dual swing away (ladder/water and spare tire) carriers. I am running 265/85/R16 Toyo M55s on stock, powder coated rims. AutoHome Carbon Fiber Air Top roof tent, ARB awning. Engel MT45 on Kwickee slide. I am currently contemplating Slee's tundra V8 and 5 speed transplant - awesome performance in the best cruiser ever made.
