Hey, late to the party but here’s my Entdecker. Scott will know this truck as it was Stanley’s. I also have another which was also the one Scott was loaned for the Uganda trip.
Why 2? Well, I’m actually a custodian for the 2nd one.
Mine has changed appearance, the original RTT was busted so it’s been fitted with a Feldon Shelter ‘Hawknest’.

Wow, slow thread here with the previous post being almost 2 years ago!

Recently acquired 2018 G63 in matte Magno over the deep/brick red interior contrast.

Original owner had entire vehicle covered in PPF ! It was done so well I didn’t even notice until 2nd inspection day because it’s truly every painted surface.

I was always interested in the matte paint options but equally kind of afraid of them for long term maintenance/longevity reasons. The PPF simply made it a wonderful surprise.

The other surprise, I had no idea the “Magno” black ? Was actually a lot more accurately described as a deep charcoal grey in metallic. While I would have been ok with actual black in matte, the charcoal is stunning, especially in certain sun angles.

I have done extensive modifications to my 07 LR3 Land Rover to allow fitting of 17” wheels and 34” tires with 100% articulation off road, but I am feeling ok with using the factory 20” for a few years with the 33.5” BFG KO3 in 285/60-20.

Fir now I lifted it from the -3/4” AMG spring height using the JackWagon spring spacers (40mm I think).

The massively luxurious wide-extra long Bundutec Bundutop is perfect in my opinion for super spacious rooft tenting in my local PNW rainy season.

Its full perimeter rain awning is a great design idea as is the ability to use either of the 4 sides for entry and/or clear air view for photography without netting permanently mounted.

The rack used is the Rhino Rack HD bars 65” on their towers, 150mm, allowing 1cm clearance for sunroof venting to underside of tent structure.

2nd row seats are removed now and I'm testing some platform ideas. There will be some sort of custom bike rack mounting such that it sits above the line of sight for the rear lights and bumper not using the receiver. This may be an add-on to the Le-Tech spare carrier.

I have some ORC items such as the above-sun visor shelves and secure rear window vents.
