Please sign up below!

We need others to take the net control spot, and to suggest topics. Any volunteers?

Hey I was about to post that I work that night and would not be able to join when I caught the PST notation...
With the change in time Arizona vs everyone else that makes it 6pm here which means I can squeeze it in before I have to go into to work...
So I am in from start till maybe the 45 min point..
So glad I can get on air finally and join you guys..
There was interest in this effort on some other forums like ih8mud and adventure4x4.net.....ok to post a link to this thread there?
thanks for all your efforts and if all goes well I wouldn't mind trying net control in the future, gotta learn sometime :)

Time goes the other way Lance! 7pm in California is 8pm in AZ and CO.

I'll definitely be in on this net. I need to tune my antenna before then though, because I'm pretty sure Ill have some stuff to say!

I'm not sure where I'll be the night of the 20th, somewhere in AZ, but I'll try to log in if I am near a repeater. :)

dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..vdang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..dang..

I was really really looking forward to getting on the AIR
Oh well after the first of the year I might be able to tweak my schedule to work monday, wed, thurs but when you work 7pm-7am the middle day off is useless since you are awake while eveyone else sleeps.

Oh well I knew that would be the case with any mon-thur net that was after 7pm AZ time...
Maybe it will change in the future or my job will change

Keep up the good work guys and I will always TRY to be there

So I'll be in North Phoenix the evening of the 20th and I'll try to log on. The closest 2M nodes are in Chandler, but that should still work. There seems to be a lot more 440 nodes out there than 2M.

We do need more participants. What about the question from Lance about posting in the other forums?

Chuck, KC7GHT, our guest speaker on the first official net has a 2M node in Phx. It's on a simplex remote base, but requires a tone to activate it. See if you can get into it - I know it works!

Node# 3820, 147.46, PL Tone 151.4, no offset.

I missed that!

Yes, please go ahead and invite others into the group! It would be best if they register here so we can get an accurate list for roll call. Trying to write down call signs on guest checkin's is a PITA...

I overlooked it because the primary node was UHF, cool, thanks. :jumping:

I would like to participate. What is involved if I'm in the Tucson area? I've only listened to this stuff. If somebody could help me link up, I'm in.

Depending on where you live in Tucson, you can link up a couple ways. If you're on the east side, you can hit a node directly.

Node 3892: 146.940, -, pl 110.9

That repeater is linked to one on top of Mt Lemon, which can be reached easily from pretty much anywhere in town, including the far NW side.

The linked repeater is: 448.350, -, pl 107.2

When I lived down there, that's how I linked up. Check out Mark's post on how to use IRLP if you don't already know how.
