Doc, not to hijack but what exactly have you had to do that the warranty has covered? Not something I particularly want to hear considering I have the same basic truck. :Wow1:

1. Blew the rear ring and pinion at 35k (known defect, bad batch of OEM gears on '05's)
2. Temp compass unit replaced, known defect on OEM units
3. MAF and both CATs replaced at 80k... that would have been $$$ if paid out of pocket!

The extended warranty at the time of purchase was a no brainer for me since I knew the truck would be with me for many years.

I was not admitting I did it, I was making the point that he was committing warranty fraud by swapping out the wheels and tires before the inspector saw the truck. Hope he does not get caught doing as that would be his employers name on the line.
