Ive got this led motion detector light It Works great!

I mounted one of these on the side of my van late last year, It works great & also doubles as a battery condition gauge.
You can use it as a basic on off light or switch it to motion detector mode, it automaticaly disables motion detector mode during the day.
The flashing battery minder leds are bright enough to see during the day. they flash blue during the day in overide mode, and green at night. if the voltage drops to a low level the light automaticaly shuts off and the led flashes red.
I had to add the led buld to mine but I see now they include it, and its on sale!!
This is a great light for general use and camp security.

What brand light is that? I can't quite make out the decals.

Edit: Never mind, I figured it out - http://www.visionxusa.com/LED-Solstice-S1100/c1_48_88/index.html

Yup, that's it. Just make sure you get the right beam pattern for what you want.
I use them with the "euro beam" for front driving lights since they have a sharp cut-off and are more of an elliptical pattern. The ones on my roofrack are flood beam (wide beam), don't throw the light far but very wide.

Camping would not be the same without the sound and light that comes from a Lantern. I mount one on the top of a Propane Tree attached to a 20 pound tank that also runs the stove and the camp fire in a can. It just aint camping without a fire.

One time I removed the top from my Coleman gas lantern and used it to toast bagels. Dual fuel and dual purpose! :sombrero:
