1) it’s hard to live when you are afraid of dying
2) Taking reasonable precautions to protect the insurance you are paying for is, in fact, reasonable.
3) Many americans (yes I am one) have an over the top fear of many many things and we have a deep seated need to protect ourselves. Bedbug, strangers knocking on their door, bears, people attacking them, the governing breaking into their homes, you name it.

Well...around here I've not seen any "geezers" packing. But the other day when I was in the local Walmart there I saw two different couples "packing"...open carry, both husband and wife. One couple had to be early 20s, the other slightly older.
And no one was making an issue of it.

An old geezer open carrying at Barnes and noble- your biggest fear should be him falling out requiring you to perform mouth to mouth. I’d be more worried about the “dude” with blue hair and a nose ring..Each to their own!

I paid actual money (like $2) for a seatbelt clip. Plug that in, and it's enough to fool the computer.
Oh... probably not a good idea to go down that road! I'm fine with people carrying guns if it makes them feel better.

Your posts here in this thread are pretty good evidence of your own self admitted fears, trying to call out others who go about their lives driving vintage vehicles or exercising their 2nd amendment rights only show further proof of that fear, that is sad on multiple levels.
