F350 Suspension with camper

I have an F350 XL CC/LWB 6.2L with a Alaskan 8'. The truck and camper weigh are 4700 front axle and 5620 rear axle. I have been looking at a suspension upgrade. Carli only does diesel; BDS has some gasser and Icon seems like the obvious choice from what they say. Word that I have heard on the street is that BDS is really dialed in, Carli only does diesel and Icon has great marketing.

So- what are you guys using?

I'll be going with 4" Bds when the budget allows. Have had good luck with them before. I'll be staying lighter to make things easier.

The Bds with some King 2.5's is right up there with Carli. And if it isn't, shim the shock pistons any way you want to.

I'm wondering what the difference is suspension wise between the gas and diesels. I doubt its more than just spring weight and valving. The links should be the same. Maybe call up Carli and ask. If you just need a lighter spring rate, that's super simple

I just put a 4in BDS on my diesel and the ride is fantastic unloaded. Should be smoother when loaded up.
I also like the warantee they offer.

Talked to BDS and Carli. BDS has some simple options to bring the front in up for gassers. Carli doesn't even have that.

Gassers are a lot lighter in the front- 700 lbs. So even with my additional 350 lbs addition to the front axle with the pop-up- I would be really squatting with the leveling kit.

My 350 has a payload of 4184 pounds.

I would talk to Thuren (https://www.thurenfabrication.com/). We just placed our order for King 2.5s with remote reservoirs and their 1.5" lift front coils made for the Hemi. Chris and Don have been amazing to work with so far and we can't wait to see the ride difference for our truck with the custom valved shocks.
