I'm down to 4 now. Fronts' gone for reasons told, rear they just don't do much for air and with my lift/brace it really doesn't leave much. I've found when I set the rear fly and it rains it has a tendency to drip onto the outer edge of those windows. They're gone now. I'm down to 2 on each side at ~ 18" x 33". That's just how it worked out, nothing I specifically planned.
Working on the awning for the windows. This time I'm going to put one on. Working at the same idea of what the RTT's do at their windows. Thought is it can deploy easy (I hope), be shade as needed/when needed, repel heavy rain and if needed fold down and cover the window. I'm still going to need night shades inside (I figure), but thinking that doesn't have to be part of the side wall (as my current ones are).
So far so good! Basic wrap/walls are done except for final seam. All 4 windows are screened and I have two of the awning prep'ed (with velcro on the bottom).
The microtech needles will not do the velcro unless you sew at the edge where there is no velcro. God my eyes hurt.. that's a very small edge!
