Very nice! especially that last one. Lots of elements but a nice focal point- for me those are always a challenge to compose well.

Went up 188 to Young then to the Rim Rd- down 260 to Kohls Ranch then Control Rd over to Indian Village and back down via 260 and 87.

Was disappointed honesty. First two are literally a patch of trees just off 260 East of the Rim Rd and the last shot is Workman Creek between Roosevelt Lake and Young. Color looked like it was still a week or two away along the creek. Hope to go back- maybe hit workman again and then along Devils Chasm.

The kids had a good time running around the forest though. Drove 331 miles in 13 hours (much of it blue hwy and dirt). :sombrero:

Hey Folks...I'm down to the last couple weeks in Iraq and as I think about it the last time I saw fall..a real fall, was prob. about 3 ro 4 years ago. Its my favorite time of the year and I have missed it. I just wanted to say thank you to all that have contributed so many fantastic pics. I'm slated for Germany next so I'm crossing my fingers on fall 2011. Again...Thanks everybody!
