favorite oil for 3.5L

Hey everyone,
I was just curious what oil weight, brand and type you all prefer and why. Especially you high mileage 3.5L guys!

Also any additives or particular filters you may have had success with.

I've been running Castrol for the life of my rig (just under 150k).
In the heat of summer, I'll run 10W-30, but the majority of the year it gets 5W-30.
...Wix or Mitsubishi filters, but I've heard the K&N filters do a good job as well.

I use the Castrol synth blend high mileage mix. Opinions vary about the detergents and additives and so forth, but I feel like they are a benefit

Rotella 10-30 for me. Minimal valve ticking and minimal oil consumption. Plus, the detergents help keep the engine clean.

Pennzoil Ultra 5w30

Full Synthetic Ultra for me with a NAPA Platinum oil filter: 41334,

Eneos Sustina is another good one, but a bit pricey.........

Yes!!! BOBISTHEOILGUY is the right forum to go to for all your questions on oil. I use M1 Extended performance 5W30. I run it for 10,000 miles between oil changes. I do this on my Maxima and my Armada. Both run like champs!!!

For clarification. Pennzoil Ultra 5w30 or Eneos Sustina 5w30....
