Fernweh Mobile truck camper - SOLD

Is the camper exclusively foam panel construction with fiberglass or aluminum skin or does it have an aluminum or wood frame? Asking not as a buyer but just because composite panel construction has great heat management characteristics that you might not find with your Black Series after it heat soaks for a day while on the road. Again just musing out of curiosity.
So the camper is built like a boat. It's a glass tub with embedded reinforcements. It has a few bit of wood embedded in places to use as nailers. Then foam sheet insulation and more glass. Then fully upholstered walls and ceiling inside. It's about as temp stable as you could ask a camper to be. Again, I'm very apprehensive about giving this up for the Black Series.

So we just put a deposit on a Black Series. I'm a little apprehensive about the change because public opinion is all over the place with them. I'll be really disappointed to have gotten rid of the Fernweh if the Black Series doesn't work out.

What dealer are you working with? My wife and our 2 boys lived and travelled in the HQ19 for 9 months. I'd be happy to share our mostly positive experience. PM me if you'd like. That is a really cool camper you have for sale. GLWS
