FG front axle load weight

Is the FG front axle load weight dictated by the load rating of the front OEM tyres, or the limitations of the axle housing and it's C's, balljoints etc? Can the front axle be uprated to supplement the higher load capacity of super singles?

Looks to be axle, etc
Rated at 2800kg, stock tyres are 124 rated (1600kg each), so it isn't the tyres that is determining the rating.
The Hino 817 front axle is also rated at 2800kg (but with an extra 1000kg GVM) and the Isuzu is 3100kg, so none of the Japanese trucks have a very high front axle load.
Can it be upgrade? Maybe depending on where you are. Australia? Nope would not be easy at all.

Yeah, that's what I figured too - was just hoping for a miracle! Given where I've placed my water tanks, I reckonI'll be just under the 2800kg when loaded up with everything - another 150-200kg would have been nice!

As far as I know they used the same axle throughout the range...
