FG649 Canter Chassis

Hi All,
I am about to purchase a 2004 FG649 4x4x Canter. I will get a tray and conopy built for it. My question is: Do later model Fuso Canters all have the same chassis rail design? If I sell the FG649 in the future i would like to keep the tray and canopy and put that on a later model Fuso. Would it bolt straight on? Or would i have to have a fair bit of engineering done to adapt to later model Canters?
Any advise is much appreaciated.
