'Fields of Fuel' Film

Nice interview on Science Friday with Josh Tickell on the film 'Fields of Fuel' about bio-diesel.

The film will be premiering at the Sundance Film Festival this week

If anyone has XM radio, tune to channel 133, the NPR show Radiowest from KUER, at 11AM MST for a complete 1 hr show about the film and biodiesel in general. Should be a good show

i have always been a big non food fuel scource advocate and a huge backer of soy for fuel,,, my cruiser runs on soy diesel(hence the sig).

Cool.. The film just premiered (and I finally got a chance to see it myself in its final version). Response from it has been very good, Robert Redford chose to show it at a personal screening for friends and industry people the night before the festival...

Anyway it will be some time before its publicly available, but it is going on a 48 city tour after the festival so chances are to a place near you Not sure when it will be released. It is a little propaganda-ish and unfortunately plays a little loose with the facts IMO... But it is a good film and has a good ground to it...

If you guys want to check out about a 20 minute film see Freedom Fuels (free for download). These guys were at Sundance last year and used my house for home base and shipping of all materials... The film has been downloaded about 55,000 times I was told by the film maker last week http://www.mofilms.org/
