Built it out of 1" poo pipe and 1.5"x.125" strap. Works great, gotta see how my larger kayaks fit, small ones fit perfect.

Sweet setup on both counts!
I had to resort to a trailer, my worn body parts didn't want to deal with a 12'..62lb fishing kayak any longer. Haha :sombrero:

Here's the mount we built added hitch to 5th wheel and kayak racks. Racks are bolted to hitch cross tube, 2" heavy wall tubing, can be taken off when not using.
