Fire Extinguisher Mount

So I purchased an 8LB fire extinguisher a while back, and have since had it bungee corded in my truck. Wanting to be a little safer, I'd really like to get a mount for it. Only problem is, I can only find mounts for small fire extinguishers, and even then they're the chrome ricer mounts or mounts for a rollcage. I'm hoping someone on here has a 8LB and can show me how they have it mounted so I can get some ideas, or if someone knows where I can get a mount for it - that would be awesome.

Contact Sierra Expeditions and ask about the large "Quick Fist". I use one to secure a 10lb Co2 tank, it should work well for you.

Yep, I will definitely second the use of the Quick Fist. Great multi purpose mount system. You can see my fire extinguisher mount here, post #31.

My fire extingusher is a 2 1/2 lb I think which is much less than an 8 lb. I fabbed a bracket to bolt to the passenger seat mounts in front of the seat. I figure that way no matter what's in the truck the extingusher is accessable all the time on a moments notice.

X3 on the Quickfist and Sierra Expeditions. A great product. I also have the shovel mounts. Lets just say that either the shovel will break or the attachment point for the mount will give way before the shovel comes out of the Quickfist. Very strong. As for Sierra Expeditions, great customer service. Very quick turn around on my order. Kept me posted as to the status of my order and its delivery ETA.

The quick fist looks really cool, I think that just might do it for me.

And that's a really sweet Tahoe :)
