Fire Extinguisher Shower...

I have not yet, but I am ready to go. I need to find the sweet spot for water level to maintain a reasonable pressure.

if you plan to pressurize it with an onboard air system you can use a mini pressure regulator inline to just maintain the pressure.

Hmmm, don't know about this idea...
I see the pro's:
- have at hand so not too much cost involved
- pressurized vessel provides water flow
- can be used to heat water
I also see some cons...
- heavy
- must be secured in transit
- missile if dislodged in an accident

Have you considered an inexpensive insecticide sprayer painted black (to absorb sun rays to heat the water)? You can pressurize one simply enough and maintain that pressure without resorting to an extra device.

It's light enough that it won't become a deadly missile in an impact. For that matter it's light enough that it could easily go on a roof rack as well.

Cost is minimal with most units being under $40. Spray paint it black and you're all set. For that matter I even saw a black one available from HD for $20.:Wow1:

Worth some consideration anyhow.:ylsmoke:

They only pressurize to 100 psi, so that is not really an issue. I have seen them crushed badly in a wreck and not be a hazard.

Those work great! I use mine for washing hands and dishes. The extinguisher is going to be for a real shower with lots of water. Metal so it can be heated too.
Mine is set up , I need to try it out. I mounted it to the front of the BLT Offroad trailer.

That regulator idea is a good one! I need to incorporate that. I had planned to just balance the air volume and pressure to find a sweet spot. I'll keep that idea in mind.
