Pop pins came in yesterday for my sliding RTT rack to stay in place. Will have a high level and a low level.

So here is the internals of the pop pins it has an 1/2" pin that is around 5/8" in length.

How I have decided to lock the side fold down doors. It's just a hitch pin lock.

Holes drilled for all pop pins top and bottom position. Also worked on mocking up thr gad struts. Takes some thinking.

Nice upgrade today found a set of wheels and tires for $80 good amount of tread for a trailer.

Struts on, they were a PITA to push down without the weight of the tent on it.

They are both 100lb struts, likely why they are so hard to push down with weight on it. I still have a feeling its going to be tough to push it back down. But I had the large laying around rather than buying a new set. Thanks for the idea box rocket.

Build isn't done but finally got to enjoy for a full week of overlanding, dispersed camping (free) in thr UP of Michigan logged over 2000 miles on the 4runner at 230,000 still running strong

Found a place for the high lift on the trailer welded Grade 8 bolts to the uprights for the tent lift. You csn see how I did it below.

It was getting to be a pain with the Jack inside so this will help a lot.

Now just a strap to hold the handle.
