Seems like we are close to 100%...I am not going to continue...I guess this is just a reminder...buyer beware
This was the reply:

Hello again,

Right now I`m in Houston,TX(the car is here with me) because I got a new job here. We will use eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection, so we can both be protected and insured. I just need your full name, full address and phone number so eBay can send you the invoice in which you'll see how to make this transaction. I supposed to ship the car to another buyer, then he told me that he found another vehicle so is no longer interested. He already paid the shipping charges. The shipping is free I will take care of it and I will send you the car for inspection along with all the documents( the title, owner's manual, 2 sets of keys, service records, and of course the bill of sale notarized and signed by me). You will get a 15 days testing period after delivery. During that 15 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I am just waiting your full name, full address(street, city, state, zip) and phone number to complete the shipping papers and start the delivery process.

Thank you,

Thats wild. I wish there were some recourse against these scamming **************. I have a simple Kitchenaid mixer on CL right now and have gotten 5 spam emails for every 1 series inquiry.

As for the scam ads placed, I notice they frequently want you to be very specific as to which vehicle you are interested in when inquiring because they have so many ads running on different vehicles. I wonder if they couldn't be spammed themselves, as in they get 10,000 emails clogging up their account. Let them try to sort that out.

Definately a scam. I inquired on a fj80 and story was pretty much the same thing. When I googled the vin number I got same car in TX even though the ad was originally posted for NY and seller said the truck was in WA with her.

Bogus.

I am having a hard time not seeing how far I can take the scammer and acting dumb...

Lets all email her that we are interested in the cruiser, see who can "jack" her around the longest then all send her the same story about wanting to buy it, inspect it.

Some of the odd phrasing is enough to make me suspicious.

"My name is Dianne I am emailing you regarding ..."
""...with no need for additional repairs, ..."
"...ready to be signed and notarized on your name."
"...the final price that i want for this car is $3,090 if you will buy it today or tomorrow."

Maybe english isn't their first language or something, but I've seen too many overseas scammers.

I totally agree w/ the wording thing sounds very scammish to me.
"My name is Dianne I am emailing you regarding ..."

Just remember that stringing them along can often cause havoc for another they are scamming. For example they will often draft money orders or checks on the names of other legit business or person. They will use Fed-Ex accounts of legit companies to mail correspondence back and forth, etc. The #1 to combat spam and scams is ignore it.
