FJ Cruiser Cyclone Air Cleaner... does it work?

Anyone have a Cyclone Air Cleaner on your FJC? Does it really work? Do you notice a good amount of debris in the 'reservoir' that the cyclonic device has removed from the dirty intake charge? I'd love to hear some real world results.

Thanks in advance!

That's awesome! I'm going to order one on Monday. Thanks for the great write-up at the other link... very informative.

It's the easiest mod you'll ever do, 2 bolts and your done. The last time I went to greenridge it was very dry and after I got home I popped the hood and squeezed the rubber spout underneath and was amazed at the dirt that came out. If you want I can get you a great deal on one, even ship it for free. PM me if your interested.

Wow... I never realized there were so many manufacturers of pre-filters. Do you guys know if the oem pre filter for the fj is designed to work submersed under water when combined with a snorkel? I'm wondering if that debris collection area (the part you squeeze to empty the debris) is sealed well enough to keep water out.
