In Canada, we have a company called Armorlite (www.armorlitetech.com/) in Edmonton, Alberta that makes truck mounted dedicated labs for a variety of purposes, mostly around the oil and gas exploration/production industry.

Having spent a lot of my career in front of a 'hood, my personal choice these days would be to err to the side of the absolute very best of everything, especially in terms of ventilation and cleanup, portable or otherwise, full stop!

I shudder to image reading the current MSDSs of some of the goodies that I was cooking up back in the day......

Of course, as a working "labite", I know that you already know all of this stuff!!

We (Four Wheel Campers) built 1 or 2 Mobile Water Testing Labs for the USGS about 15 years ago. Simple interior. They are probably still in service somewhere.
