Price may be your issue especially with the cost of gasoline. Most are probably looking for high gas mileage vehicles.

Additionally IMHO the biggest problem selling Montero's in N. America is it's not a Jeep or Toyota or other more popular platform. American's simply don't look at Montero's as expedition or 4x4 vehicles. They look at them as either basic transportation or glorified soccer mom vans.

That said, I think if you aren't in a hurry, you will probably find a buyer in 2-4 months.

am i asking to much or something? i figured it would sell fast but idk whats wrong?

yep...it should be $1800 with the tires and rack, but i dont think its a horrible price as you have it now.

BTW, your monty doesnt have a front bumper, thats not helping the sale at all

Aint this how it goes, right?

I'm looking for one locally and can't find one, and you are trying to sell your's!

Monteros werent popular, and that is what makes them hard to selll and hard to find.

Cest la vie.

There's a full contingent of Montero enthusiast in Phoenix. In fact they're so passionate that they're building up a Montero for fellow long term mitsu fanatic (who lives in NM) pretty much for free...:Wow1:

You can read their build thread here...http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=1167840&an=0&page=0#Post1167840

May want to touch base with them since some of them are constantly on the lookout even though they're not in the market.

I'm actually waiting for a response from 4x4 Wire admin on my registration; once that happens I can reply to those threads.

I wasn't aware of the folks in PHX, guess I have folks to contact!

Thanks for the heads up.

I'll give John a heads up for you then. He's sometimes busy travelling to/from Sacramento because he's a land use advocate. I'm the moderator on their mitsu tech forum.

Did you also use Fergie as your forum name?
