The phone can either be activated monthly with the included SIM Card or prepaid SIM Card can be purchased through a Iridium retailer or on eBay. (about a $1 per minute). Service is about $40 per month and $.50-.70 per minute. I can check on exact figures and post on here Monday.

I can check with the Iridium on that. Is the phone in proper working order? Abused in any way? Under any warranty? This would be for work comm out in the field, so reliability needs to be assured.

The phone is in good order with no known issues. I last used it for a month long OZ expedition in June/July and used it until the minutes expired in August. It has always been in the supplied Pelican case and like all my electronics and expo gear I have not abused it in any way. It no longer has the factory warrenty and I can't offer one because I'm not a retailer. In short it's good to go.

If you by some slim chance have this availible in May when my forestry work picks up I will definaltey pick this up. I seem to always work in areas without cell service.
