Some Downs and DamagesFor Sale Dakar Inspired 2009 BMW G450X.
Extremely fast, open terrain Enduro bike, street legal in all 50 states. Has a massive 52 hp at the wheels, roughly 10% more at the crank. If you want to go fast this is the bike for you. With 15 – 48 setup, currently at 14-48, you can achieve 100mph on packed or sandy terrain.
Owned this bike for more than 5 years. Now have to sell it, because I started doing a lot more hard enduro / single track riding, and this bike a bit much for that. Bought a smaller 250cc which is perfect for that, and no longer really use G450X.
Bike is in perfect running condition. Has 153.1hr / 4968 miles. Engine running perfectly, good clutch, great all around mechanically. There is a video in a link with a cold start of the bike. Bike has lot of extras, and a big list of oem parts no longer installed, see the list below.

· Old Broken Kick Stand, Broken Ear, can be fixed, but I used to lean it on trees on the trail or you also get a side attached kickstand packed in toolbag, easy to use.
· 2L of Motul Mineral Oil, and a good easy fill funnel
· Right Side plastic have been broken when I clipped the branch. Duck taped it together and it is ok, plastic as well as other parts for G450X still sold by BMW Motorrad. Last I check this plastic was $58, just never got around to purchase another piece.
· Also from the same branch I had slight headlight bracket damage, had to use good old cable tie, but it sits together firmly and I don’t see a reason to change that.
· Lastly, turn signal switch started to fall apart for unknown reason, also cable tie helped, solid and working.
· Bike has all around scratches from normal use
· Original kick stand is broken, can be fixed so you can have it as well, or use a standalone kickstand you will get with tooldbox
· Safari extra 2 Gallon tank was purchased used, already had black bedliner paint on it, I did plastic dip paint in white, that did not work so well as it started to scratch off and loose it’s color. You can easily rip plastic dip off. I wanted to use white bed liner paint on it since it seem to work way better and never got around to it.
