Wish it could be imported into the US.

It's based on a vehicle that was imported and sold in the USA in 2005 (it's time of manufacturer)
and it is left hand drive....so for someone REALLY interested it may be worth looking into to see
if it can be imported...just a thought. If that price was in $ instead of £ I would be looking into it.

The US vehicle was based on the Euro model but there are undoubtedly significant differences in many systems that may be present which may increase the cost above and beyond the current asking price of $71,000 US dollars ($45K pound sterilng). True the difference between grey market cars of the 80's and modern european vehicles in 2005 may not be as great as they once were, but I am sure NHTSA and the EPA will have their own opinion.

If I have time I will search the NHTSA and EPA site again. I have been on there too much recently regarding vehicles from the 90's which do not qualify yet: Pre-Sprinter Mercedes variants.
