I agree that remote reservoir shocks are preferable but user-adjustable shocks go a long way towards the "one size fits all" between loaded and unloaded.
I just recently had the Firestone airbags in the current truck replaced with a newly designed set of airbags that Firestone just came out with. I didn't expect the ride to be any different but I was absolutely amazed at the improvement that I've experienced. It rode like a truck before, but it now rides like a car/ truck (if that makes sense).
The stock shocks did fine for Mexico, U.S., Canada, & Alaska. It's always handled just fine. I'm not looking to go overboard and my thinking here was a simple upgrade from stock.

Sometimes I see rigs in my travels (and locally as well) that look as though they've spent a fortune on their suspensions and I can't help but wonder why ?
I have not noticed any performance drop off after 30k on the Fox 2.0 shocks. I don’t know if the 2.0s are rebuildable.Are the Fox custom valved? I thought the 2.0s would require the same rebuild schedule... no?
