IF you were not so effluent as to be able to afford that cargo trailer, trike and a boat you would not have these problems when considering the purchase of a Ford Maverick!

I like the Maverick, especially the base XL fwd hybrid and the XLT FX4 packages. They seem to offer some real value. I don't like the idea of "Tremor"-izing everything at Ford, as it dilutes the Tremor badge. It would be like Jeep deciding to offer a "Rubicon" package on the Renegade just to cash in on the popularity of that package on the Wrangler and Gladiator. It's profitable, but the badge means a little less when they spread it too thin.

Yeah, but almost no one remembers that Tremor, and it's not the direction Ford took the current package.

The tremor has no prestige, it has only been around for a few years in the current direction. This truck follows exactly that, a step up from the FX4 with more actual off road tech, protection and mechanical goodies. If the package does the exact same as its bigger brothers (which it does) then it is worthy and in no way diluting anything, especially with a package that has so little history, this isn't a Mustang...

Nice little truck, I am a big fan and this package seems great. It won't do what I need but for my brother and his business it would be great (the standard version not the AWD off road versions) if only they offered a extended cab or regular cab as the bed is too short for his pool business. He already fills up his extended cab silverado and that is before needing to pick up pallets or heaters. This would be idea if they offered another cab configuration.
