FORD TRANSIT NEW LIFT KITS....

The 2wd Ford Transit is a pretty cool van even though it is a unibody! HEHE. To make sure we give it the same WeldTec Designs love that the Ford E-Series gets, we thought it needed more lift and bigger tires. Most van owners love running big tires and even for me a set of 265x70x17 just wasn't going to cut it for me as well. With that in mind it was off to the lab of craziness to see what we could come up with....., and this was the result. One ultra sweet 3" lift spindle .........

What is even better about these new WeldTec Designs 3" lift spindles is they can be added to an existing lift that you may already have. I added the spindles to the WTD 2" Coastal Cruiser lift which is the Lower control arm and aluminum lift spacer. In the rear we went with our progressive leaf spring and a set of Fox Shocks. We are calling this new lift the "TRAIL RUNNER" which will allow you to run a 285x70x17 BFG KO2 mounted on a set of 703 MethodRace Wheels.

Here are are the links to these products.

Let me know your thoughts on all of these cool new products. What else would you like to see for the Ford Transit vans?

I don’t own a Transit (Sprinter) but I really like seeing new and original van parts for any model or make. This project looks like a winner and I suspect that it could give a whole ‘nother perspective when considering Fords vs. brand X.

Its been a few months since we posted this thread showing the NEW Ford Transit 3" lift spindles. With only one other post I am kinda surprised....? So my question to the community is are you choosing the AWD over the 2wd ? I have been running the 5" kit on 285x70x17 tires and LOVE the way it looks. .
What are your thoughts?

I suspect that most would prefer the AWD. The improvement in looks is good, but performance improvement is even better.
