Foxwing awning on a Disco II?

I really like the look of the Foxwing Awning but I saw a post that warned it will not fit on everything. I'm unclear if they meant it won't fit on every vehicle or every rack (OZ tents warns about the rack fitment).
Does anyone have a photo of a Foxwing Awning on a Disco II?
I have a 2004 Discovery, soon to have OME under it.

I have mine on a Discovery I. Mounted it on Thule crossbars. No issues.

Here's a picture:

I saw one of these on a demonstrator at a UK show. They're really nice, covering the sides and also the rear door of the vehicle. The side piece doesn't come out 90 degrees at the windscreen, though, and they take longer than most awnings to erect. I have heard they're prone to breaking in blustery conditions or if not set up correctly, so consider their robustness - they need poles and guy ropes on each strut.

I'm about to install one on my truck as we recently started carrying the Rhino Rack product line.

We actually sell the foxwing in the UK. They are NOT prone to breaking in blustery conditions. We have had ours deployed in 55 mph winds. At that wind speed many lesser tents were been flattened! Yes it billowed a bit but being correctly guyed down it was fine

Yes if you don't bother guying it down it can become a giant kite. The repair is quiet straight forward however. Remember the area covered by a foxwing is about 10 metres square whereas other awnings cover less then half of the area of the foxwing.

There are now heavy duty fittings and a range of fittings available for other roof bars/racks.

We have one fitted directly to a Patriot roof rack and one fitted to Rhino Rack bars. So between the range of fitting kits available and some engineering ingenuity it can be fitted to most racks/bars

I had two of them. One was great the other one just wasted a way in the desert sun. The carrier cover came apart. The rubber broke. Great product except that you have to decide which side of the car or trailer you want it. Can't beat what it goes for you.
