I ran into a pretty good amount of free 1/4in steel plates at work. I hate to see them just get tossed in the dumpster so I am offering them up to anyone in the region that would like some. Most are 26in. X 26in. with 4 one inch diameter holes. Some are 30in. X30in. also a couple are large yet large holes.

I already have enough at my house to build my front and rear bumpers plus replace all my stock skid plates.

The plates are located at my jobsite in alexandria, va. I commute everyday from Waynesboro, pa.:smiley_drive: I am willing to meet up with anyone interested. Limit per meet up would have to be about 8-10 plates since they weigh around 60 lbs. a piece.

No charge of course, trying to pass on the good deal!!

Yelp most days 270 to 70 some days I take 28 to 80 just to avoid traffic. How many would you like and what day would be good for you. Most days I am passing thru frederick around 6:30 some days earlier.

that's why I am passing on the deal. A month ago I almost bought an arb front bumper and a tube rear but decided to wait till I got a new welder in case I had to modify something. Glad I waited.

ALMOST makes me want to drive from Ohio to meet you, what a deal and since I have been pricing steel for a rear bumper!

Let me guess...anchor bolt templates?
Kinda, Leveling plates for steel columns. Boss and I decided to go to leveling nuts and washers and grout after columns are plumbed. Helps avoid any gaps at the baseplates in case they are alittle warped or unlevel.

I always set one nut to elevation, painted it, and let my steel erectors set the rest with a 2' level and shim packs.

I used to salvage all the steel I could from my construction sites, and gave away all the useable stuff.

The rest, we scrapped and used the $$$ for a jobsite wide BBQ for all the trades.

Good on ya!

Woohoo! Nothing brightens my day like a couple hundred pounds of steel -- think of the possibilities! Thanks, malcom!
