Fridge slide and tilt?

Spamicus Eliminatus
Hi guys,

I was reviewing a link that D4Dave from Australia posted regarding his drawer system build.

The build is excellent, but I especially like this:

Much easier for loading and unloading! :chowtime:

The slide is from Black Widow Storage Systems (which sells some pretty awesome storage systems I might add), but the key is the hinge installed. It looks to me though that the hinge is the only thing that mounts the slider to the drawers now - not sure how ideal that is.

Thoughts?

I like but would be afraid of a front end impact with a fully loaded fridge. The amount of force that the hinge would take may cause to free and be a 100lb projectile.

That's what I'm thinking about too...

So how could we have the best of both worlds? A hinge and a solid mount? Some kind of quick release?

A quick release in the front with a pin would do the trick, not too sure how much shear strength it would need though.

That is just what I need to do. My drawers are 12" tall and my rig is about to become pretty high. I figure a single pin would allow the fridge to slide and also allow the fridge to tilt. Since I have ambulance doors, I'll have to come up with a limiting strap to stop the fridge at the right angle.
