Fridge storage

If you spend any time on the Aussie or South African forums you will see that folks have been running their fridges non-stop for YEARS...
I know my National Luna has not been off for a year now and handles the Phoenix heat fine, my Engel has been running non-stop for 3yrs now in Phx (loaned to another person and in their rig).
I did try moving the fridge into the house as a second fridge and sometimes freezer but it was too much hassle, better to keep it packed and ready in the rig

FWIW,
I have had my 43qt ARB for 6 years (bought it used). Has always been in my truck, but only turned on when I want to use it (a trip, shopping meat at costco). It is turned off sometimes for a month or more at a time. Never have had a single issue with it. Best mod ever for my travels.
